Lee's Badminton - Recipient of the Badminton Perpetual Excellence Foundation Funding for 2014-2015

Lee’s Badminton Training Centre is proud to announce that we were selected as a recipient of the Badminton Perpetual Excellence Foundation Funding for 2014-2015. This funding is to support Lee’s overall commitment to the sport of Badminton in Canada.

Many of you may not know the Perpetual Excellence Foundation (“PEF”). The PEF is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the development of elite junior badminton player in Canada. The PEF raise funds throughout the country and distribute those funds to the most talented, ambitious and hardworking athletes and their respective programs. This is to raise the level of badminton to a higher level that Canada has never achieved in the past.

With this funding, Lee’s plans to purchase some equipment to further enhance the lower body skills of our players. We will also use part of the funding to support the junior players to attend the junior national tournament in 2015.

In support of the PEF, we will be doing some fund raising events. Details will be announced in the near future. The first event will be a bake sale during the holiday season. All proceeds from the bake sale will be donated to PEF. All bakers, please get ready to show off your baking skills.
